The Assessment Process
Step 1

Parent Interview in Our Clinic

The therapist conducts a comprehensive interview with the parents to gather background information, including birth and medical history, family history, daily routines and habits, feeding and nutrition, and any current concerns.
Step 2

Clinical Observation in our clinic

The child is observed in a one-on-one setting by therapists across relevant disciplines, allowing for a holistic and multidisciplinary perspective on the child's development and functioning.
Step 3

School Information Gathering

With parental consent, we liaise with the child's school to collect information regarding their academic performance, as well as their social and adaptive skills in an educational setting.
Step 4

Standardised Assessment in our clinic

Once the appropriate assessment tools have been selected, the evaluation sessions will be scheduled at the clinic. The number of sessions and overall duration will vary depending on the evaluation tools used.
Step 5

Report Writing

A comprehensive report is prepared, incorporating findings from the clinical observation, assessment results, diagnostic impressions, and tailored recommendations to support the child's development.
